Looking for something different to do with your dog? Cloud Nine offers a variety of specialty classes designed to build confidence, strengthen teamwork, solve specific training challenges and introduce you and your dog to new activities.
From tricks and therapy dog training to focused Micro Classes, conformation handling and activity samplers, there’s something fun and rewarding for dogs and handlers with a variety of interests and goals.
Tricks for Kicks for Dogs
Tricks are more than just fun! Teaching tricks can build confidence, improve body awareness, redirect behavior and give your dog new ways to think and learn.
You’ll learn more than a dozen behaviors while strengthening the bond and teamwork between you and your dog. Tricks can also be especially useful for therapy dogs and dogs involved in activities such as agility and obedience.

Therapy Dog Class
Prepare you and your dog to make a positive difference together. Cloud Nine’s Therapy Dog training helps handler-and-dog teams develop the skills needed to become reliable, controlled and confident therapy teams.
Additional Therapy Dog Training
Cloud Nine also offers Therapy Dog Team Review & Practice for teams preparing for registration or re-evaluation, as well as Tricks for Therapy Dogs for teams looking for fun ways to enhance interaction during therapy visits.

Micro Classes
Sometimes your dog has great manners overall—but there’s that one thing you’d really like to work on. Cloud Nine’s Micro Classes are focused lessons designed to address specific skills and common problem behaviors.
Topics may include Stop Jumping, Quiet Please, Pleasant Pleasure Walking and Intro to Retrieve.

Stop Jumping
Date: Tues. Sept. 15
Time: 8:00 pm
Micro Class - Quiet Please Dogs bark. That’s how they communicate. While we can’t take the bark out of the dog completely, we can reduce how much barking he is allowed to do. Sign up for the Quiet Please! micro class to learn how to get your dog’s barking under control and possibly eliminate it altogether in select situations. No prerequisite to participate.
Micro Class - Stop Jumping Tired of your dog jumping on you? On the counter? On other people? Then sign up for our Stop Jumping! micro class to learn some techniques that will help you deter and/or eliminate your dog’s undesirable jumping habits. No prerequisite to participate.
Micro Class - Pleasant Pleasure Walking If you would like to put the “pleasure” back into your walks with your dog, then attend our Pleasant Pleasure Walking micro class, where you will learn what you need to do to put an end to pulling once and for all. Weather permitting, these sessions may take place outside. No prerequisite to participate.
Conformation Class
Heading to the show ring? Cloud Nine’s Conformation Handling classes help handlers learn how to confidently present their dogs in the breed ring.
Practice gaiting, stacking, leash handling and techniques for bringing out the best in your dog. Classes are helpful whether you are a new handler, working with a new show dog or already have experience in the ring.

Activity Sampler Class
Not sure which activity you and your dog might enjoy? Try several!
This six-session class introduces you and your dog to a variety of activities that provide mental and physical enrichment, relieve boredom, strengthen your relationship and put your dog’s training skills to work.
Each lesson focuses on something different:
